Guilt Free Goodies – Banana and Kefir Soft Serve
If you are anything like me, you love your treats and sweets. I have tried to give them up in the past, but have always failed…and for some reason, it seems that those moments of denial build into an overwhelming binge in which what could have been a square of chocolate treat turns into 3 whole candy bars down and looking for more!
Personally, I am not a big fan of synthetic sugar substitutes or “fat free” chemical concoctions that are meant to replace the goodies that I am looking for. I prefer real desserts made with real ingredients that taste real good!
I have to mention that I am working on losing weight, improving my muscle tone and getting more fit and healthy, and eating a lot of ice cream, cake, candy and sugar doesn’t help my quest at all.
This combination of factors has led me to start a quest devoted to finding the absolute best tasting, most healthy dessert recipes out there. I will be sharing the recipes I try and giving you my opinion about how the healthy versions of these recipes taste. Because I share my desserts with my family, I will also be giving you their takes on how these recipes taste!
Yesterday, I made a homemade and healthy version of this banana and chocolate soft serve recipe
